Who we are

Slotwise is a small business based in the Netherlands that builds Instagram DM assistants for beauty and appointment businesses ("studios"). You can reach us at slotwise@outlook.com or on Instagram at @slotwise.app.

Because we are based in the European Union, we follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), wherever our customers are.

This website

• We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels on this website.
• Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so visiting it does not send your data to font services.
• The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

When you contact us

If you message us on Instagram or by email, we use your name, handle and messages only to reply to you and, if you become a customer, to provide our service. We keep these conversations for as long as needed for that, and at most 2 years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example invoices).

Data we handle for studios

When a studio uses Slotwise, its assistant answers messages from the studio's own clients. For that data, the studio is in charge (the "controller") and Slotwise only works on its behalf (the "processor"). We sign a data processing agreement with every studio. In short:

• We only use client messages to run and improve that studio's assistant.
• We never sell data and never use a studio's clients for anything else, such as marketing for ourselves.
• The assistant only replies to people who message the studio first.
• When a studio stops, we remove our access and delete any data we hold for them.

Services we use

To provide Slotwise we use: Meta (Instagram), ManyChat (the official Meta partner tool that runs the assistants), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Microsoft Outlook (email). Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, they rely on legal safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email slotwise@outlook.com and we will answer within one month. If you messaged a studio that uses Slotwise, you can also contact that studio directly.

If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
